Moral education to Chinese youths has always been a key issue, on which President Hu Jintao made a speech on May 11th, emphasizing on the importance to popularize quality education among Chinese youths. Inspired by this speech, Prof. Gao Xing, secretary of the Party committee in ITP, wrote an article, recalling his experience as head teacher in the university around 1990s. In his article, he mentioned his successful handling of moral education to university students by holding regular class meetings, during which all students got an opportunity to speak out their own mind.

This article, for its significance to education workers as well as the students, got published by Chinese Higher Education Study. It was also an identification of progress made by ITP in moral education.
