On 26^th, Feb, 2005, Prof. Yao Tandong, director of ITP and Prof. Gao Xing, deputy director of ITP paid special visits to some ITP professors in Beijing. Both leaders enquired into those scientists’ daily lives and expressed their gratitude to the relatives for their understanding and support for Tibetan Plateau research career. They also extended their warm greetings to those professors, hoping them a fruitful new lunar year.
