CAS member institutes join hands to establish key laboratory----Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research

Key Laboratory of Cryosphere and Environment, jointly established by Cold and Arid Regions Environmental and Engineering Research Institute(CAREERI) and ITP of CAS and Chinese Academy of Meteorological Science (CAMS),China Meteorological Administration recently took the place of Key Laboratory of Ice Cores and Environment, which had been the laboratory within CAREERI.

According to the cooperative contract, ITP will mainly be in charge of these three aspects, namely scientific research, activity coordination and platform supporting. CAREERI, ITP and CAMS will respectively be the NO. 1, NO.2 and NO. 3 supporting institute in the operation of the new laboratory.
