As to the construction of ITP’s branch in Kunming, Prof. Lu Yongxiang, President of CAS recently noted that the relevant parties should focus on the strategic target research and research staff employment, so as to conduct advanced studies for the sustainable development of the national economy.

Bearing such hope in mind, leaders from both ITP and Kunming Institute of Botany have coordinated and held several specific conferences to discuss and push forward the initiation of the branch. ITP’s people in concern revealed that, in the near future, more excellent scientific staff and management personnel will be needed for the operation of the branch in Kunming.
