ITP Prof. KANG Shichang has recently accepted the invitation by Prof. J. L. Sanchez, editor-in-chief of Atmospheric Research, and become a member in the editorial board as its associate editor.

Published by Elesvier Publishing Group and with the latest impact factor as 1.811 in 2010, the journal publishes scientific papers (research papers, review articles, letters and notes) dealing with the part of the atmosphere where meteorological events occur. As its associate editor, Prof. Kang will be focusing on editing such papers as on physical features of atmospheric aerosols, chemistry of snow and ice and that of precipitation.

This responsibility with honor to Prof. Kang also demonstrates the research level of ITP research staff in relevant areas. Congratulations to Prof. Kang!
