Prof. YAO Tandong was re-nominated by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) as the director of ITPCAS, according to the latest announcement made by CAS.

Together announced was the new leading group of the institute, consisting of YAO Tandong,  XIE Pengyun, YANG Yongping and MA Yaoming. The new leading group is expected to continue its service for five more years.

This announcement was made shortly after the visit of a CAS delegate led by vice President DING Zhongli to the institute. The visit confirmed the inspecting group of the capacity and competency of the current leading group to continue its service for another term.
